Upper GI endoscopy can detect ulcers, abnormal growth, precancerous conditions, inflammation and hiatus hernia. it can be used to determine the cause of abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, swallowing difficulties, acid reflux, unexplained eight loss, anemia and bleeding in upper GI tract.
